When studies have shown that table sugar or sucrose can be even more addictive than cocaine, it is no wonder that you struggle to cut down.  Yet more and more research is being published that indicates that excessive sugar consumption is responsible for many of the chronic diseases that we see today - including diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease. When the effects of sugar on the body have also been shown to include the acceleration of the ageing process - there is so much science out there encouraging people to cut down...and yet nobody is able to do so.
